August Field Trip
PALA - Oceanview Mines - Tourmaline, Quartz, and More!

What a fantastic field trip this was!   It was a good turnout, and everyone took home great stuff.   Many outstanding specimens of tourmaline, quartz, muscovite, kunzite, lepidolite, and beryl were collected - all day long!   Not only did we get to search the tailings, but we also got to go inside the Elizabeth R. Mine to dig around and see the miners at work!
