Kitchen Table Metalsmithing - Fusing Argentium Silver Rings Workshop with Jette Sorensen

Learn a little kitchen table metalsmithing. Using a butane torch, fuse skinny Argentium Silver stack rings. Then solder a little premade bezel cup onto one of your fused rings, insert a cabochon and burnish it to stay securely in your new piece of jewelry. You will also learn to make your own head pins and small Argentium Silver balls.

Sterling silver has 92.5% fine silver, Argentium has 93.5% and a touch of Germanium which makes it very tarnish resistant. Argentium silver is made from reclaimed silver.

Stone on Stone Pendant Workshop with Brad Smith

Small accent stones can be used to add visual interest and complexity to
a larger cabochon. The added stone can provide a nice sparkle, a splash
of color, or can be used to hide a small defect in the larger cabochon.

Learn how to drill a cabochon, fabricate a silver bezel, set the accent
stone, and combine the two stones using a tube rivet technique. The
completed stone will then be used in a quick and easy pendant design.

All tools, materials, silver and gemstones will be provided.

BTW - If you bring a spare necklace, you'll be able to wear it home.
