Workshop – INTRODUCTION TO SILVERSMITHING Make Skinny Rings 5/31/25 9am-12pm at CCRMC Lapidary Shop

Learn to fuse skinny rings using Argentium Silver, a type of Sterling. Argentium has a higher fine-silver content than regular sterling, making fusing easier. Argentium also resists tarnishing when compared to regular sterling. You will learn to control the flame of a Butane torch to make a seamless joint.

Safety notes: Wear natural fabrics such as cotton or wool. Wear closed-toe shoes. Refrain from wearing long dangling jewelry and loose long sleeves. Long hair should be tied back, away from your face.

Bring: Eye protection, either prescription glasses or readers.
