CCRMC 2026 Fiesta of Gems Workshop
Make your jewelry sparkle like new! Learn to polish precious metals, including sterling silver and gold. You will be guided through the polishing process, learning which methods are best-suited for various pieces, how to select which polishing compound to use, how to control each tool, and how much polishing is necessary to bring your piece back to life. You will be using these methods:
- Bench polishing & buffing machine
- Flex shaft rotary tool
- Polishing cloth
- Ultrasonic cleaning machine
During the workshop you will accomplish the following:
· Decide on the best polishing instruments for your piece
· Learn to use each of the polishing tools
· Polish your piece with guidance from the instructor

- Material Kit: Included in fee
- What to bring: Jewelry or other wares that need polishing, solid gold and solid sterling silver only! Plated or gold-filled may lose their metal coating during the polishing process.
