CCRMC 2026 Fiesta of Gems Workshop
The Tree of Life is a timeless symbol of quiet strength, growth, and deep-rooted meaning. In this hands-on workshop, you’ll create your own sculptural interpretation, grounded in a personal touch. You’ll bring a rock from your own collection to serve as the foundation for your creation. A few rock bases will be available for sale if needed.
A variety of gemstone chips and tarnish-resistant gold and silver wire will be available from which to select and is included in the workshop fee. Each stone carries its own unique energy and symbolism – such as smoky quartz for grounding and amethyst for clarity. Your finished tree will be a one-of-a-kind reflection of you.
During the workshop you will accomplish the following:
- Design your tree by selecting upright or willow
- Select your chips and wire
- Learn techniques to twist and shape wire into branches, trunks, and roots
- Secure your roots as either long strands or spirals
